Who We Are

Kyle Venable

Kyle Venable is a seasoned cybersecurity executive with over 25 years of experience leading security strategy, compliance initiatives, and risk management efforts across government, commercial, and nonprofit sectors. A Marine Corps veteran with multiple combat deployments, Kyle transformed his operational expertise into a mission-driven career focused on protecting national defense systems and critical infrastructure.

As co-founder and Lead Security Consultant of Allied Cyber Solutions, Kyle provides fractional/vCISO services to emerging and established organizations, guiding them through complex regulatory landscapes including SOC 2, CMMC, ISO, and NIST compliance to industry frameworks such as CIS Controls and NIST SP 800-53.

Kyle has also served as a Program Manager supporting cybersecurity and range modernization programs for the U.S. Department of Defense. In parallel, he has. also advised nonprofit organizations on governance and security posture, leveraging his expertise to improve resiliency and trust.

Kyle is known for his high-trust leadership style, his commitment to service-driven innovation, and his ability to bridge the gap between operational resilience and business growth. He lives in Auburn, Alabama with his wife Vanessa and their children Braylen, Kieran, and their dogs Luna, Roubaix, and Sophie.


Vanessa Venable

Vice President, Chief Administration & Compliance

Vanessa Venable is the Co-Founder and Vice President of Administration & Compliance at Allied Cyber Solutions, where she leads corporate governance, internal compliance, and cross-program coordination. With over a decade of experience spanning government policy, nonprofit operations, and strategic leadership, Vanessa ensures that Allied Cyber Solutions operates in full alignment with regulatory frameworks and mission-driven objectives.

In addition to her executive role at ACS, Vanessa serves as the Internal Communications Senior Manager at the Gary Sinise Foundation, where she directs strategic internal initiatives and serves as a trusted advisor across departments. Acting in a Mission Integration Manager capacity, she oversees executive communications, organizational alignment, and operational messaging—fostering a unified and mission-focused internal culture.

Vanessa also contributes her expertise as a Board Member of Operation Iron Ruck Foundation and Gameday for Heroes, supporting veteran mental health advocacy through her work on the Legislative, Fundraising, and Education Committees.

She earned her Executive Master of Public Service and Administration from the Bush School at Texas A&M University, specializing in Public Policy Management. Vanessa brings a values-based approach to leadership, rooted in service, transparency, and collaborative impact.

She and her husband, Kyle, reside in Auburn, Alabama with their two children, Braylen and Kieran, and their dogs Luna, Roubaix, and Sophie.


Michael Patterson

Vice President, Solutions Development

Michael Patterson serves as the Vice President of Solutions Development at Allied Cyber Solutions, where he plays a critical role in expanding the company’s cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, and compliance offerings across all sectors. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Michael transitioned from service as a Staff Sergeant in 2018 and earned his degree from Auburn University in 2020. He holds a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification, among others, further strengthening his technical acumen in support of ACS’s secure solutions mission.

At ACS, Michael leads the identification of strategic growth opportunities, building key partnerships that align with customer needs in an evolving threat landscape. He drives product diversification initiatives and anticipates future market demands to position ACS for long-term success. In addition to his work with ACS, Michael maintains contracting engagements with NASA, bringing over a decade of combined cybersecurity, IT services, and program management experience to the organization.

Michael and his wife Jessica are the proud parents of Halli, Anna, Zaiden and Jaxon, and their dog Rust.
