Who We Are

Kyle Venable
President & CEO, Security Consultant
Kyle is a seasoned cybersecurity executive and Marine Corps veteran with more than 25 years of experience leading security strategy, compliance programs, and risk management initiatives across government, commercial, and nonprofit sectors. With multiple combat deployments, Kyle brings an operationally grounded, mission-first mindset to protecting national defense systems, sensitive data, and critical infrastructure.
As Co-Founder and Lead Security Consultant of Allied Cyber Solutions (ACS), Kyle delivers fractional and virtual CISO (vCISO) services to both emerging and established organizations. He guides executive teams through complex regulatory and compliance environments, including SOC 2, CMMC, ISO, and NIST frameworks, and helps organizations operationalize controls aligned to CIS Critical Security Controls and NIST SP 800-53. His work emphasizes practical, scalable security that supports organizational growth while reducing risk.
In addition to his commercial work, Kyle serves on and advises many nonprofit organizations on governance, cybersecurity posture, and compliance maturity, helping mission-driven organizations strengthen resilience, safeguard trust, and responsibly steward donor and stakeholder data.
Kyle is recognized for his high-trust leadership style, service-driven approach, and ability to bridge cybersecurity, operational resilience, and business objectives. He resides in Auburn, Alabama with his wife Vanessa, their children Braylen and Kieran, and their dogs Luna, Roubaix, and Sophie.

Vanessa Venable
Vice President, Chief Administration & Compliance
Vanessa is the Co-Founder and Vice President of Administration & Compliance at Allied Cyber Solutions (ACS), where she leads corporate governance, internal compliance, and cross-program coordination. With more than a decade of experience spanning public policy, nonprofit operations, and executive leadership, Vanessa ensures ACS operates with rigor, transparency, and full alignment to regulatory frameworks and mission-driven objectives.
In addition to her role at ACS, Vanessa serves as Senior Manager of Internal Communications at the Gary Sinise Foundation, where she directs enterprise-wide internal communications and strategic initiatives. In this capacity, she acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, overseeing executive communications, organizational alignment, and operational messaging to foster a cohesive, mission-focused culture across the Foundation.
Vanessa also serves as a Board Member for the Operation Iron Ruck Foundation and Gameday for Heroes, supporting veteran mental health and community advocacy initiatives. Her board service includes work on legislative, fundraising, and education committees, helping guide organizational strategy and impact.
She holds an Executive Master of Public Service and Administration from the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University, with a concentration in Public Policy Management. Vanessa brings a values-based leadership approach grounded in service, accountability, and collaborative impact.
Vanessa resides in Auburn, Alabama with her husband, Kyle, their children Braylen and Kieran, and their dogs Luna, Roubaix, and Sophie.

Michael Patterson
Vice President, Solutions Development
Michael Patterson serves as Vice President of Solutions Development at Allied Cyber Solutions (ACS), where he plays a key role in expanding the company’s cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, and compliance offerings across government, commercial, and nonprofit sectors. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Michael transitioned from active service as a Staff Sergeant in 2018 and earned his degree from Auburn University in 2020.
Michael brings strong technical and strategic expertise to ACS, supported by industry certifications including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and others that reinforce his depth in secure network and systems design. His background enables him to translate complex technical requirements into scalable, mission-aligned solutions.
At ACS, Michael leads solutions development and strategic growth initiatives, identifying new market opportunities, building key partnerships, and guiding product diversification to meet evolving customer and threat landscape demands. His work ensures ACS remains responsive, innovative, and well-positioned for long-term growth.
In addition to his role at ACS, Michael maintains contracting engagements with NASA, bringing more than a decade of combined experience in cybersecurity, IT services, and program management. This blend of public-sector and private-sector expertise strengthens ACS’s ability to deliver high-impact, compliant solutions.
Michael resides with his wife Jessica, their children Anna, Halli,, Zaiden, and Jaxon, and their dog Rust.
